You guessed it. Early reports this morning are showing a 16% decrease from last years oscars. These people truly don't get it. They are clueless because they keep pulling shitty ratings and yet they keep doing and saying the same shit. It's unbelievable. I have no idea who won shit because I didn't watch a second of it but I did read today that Kobe Bryant won an oscar for some shit which is hilarious to me. The entire narrative this year in Hollywood has been sexual harassment victims and how it needs to stop, yet they give an oscar to a guy who was accused of rape?

Also, what is up with the Like calculator? If this is correct and you actually really do have more Likes than I do, then I guess this has a lot to say for the average intellect of the x.
Even if the majority of Likes are from Nook and Token, it's sad.

Well, truthfully, many of the movies from the early years that were winners, really were works of art.
Intelligent writing. Great acting. Just enjoyable.

The Nielsen numbers for Jimmy Kimmelâ€™s Oscars broadcast will be way down because ratings for almost everything on TV are way down these days. Annual double-digit declines for all but a handful of shows are now the norm in TV, and events like the Olympics, the Super Bowl, and, yes, the Oscars arenâ€™t immune. Although this yearâ€™s drop-off for the Academy Awards looks to be particularly steep, and probably a bit depressing to ABC execs (and the movie industry), itâ€™s hardly apocalyptic.

I've seen at least six different Hollywood reports promoting this same theory. It's not because people are tired of the political viewpoints of the out-of-touch Hollywood liberals, it's just that nobody watches TV any more.
