Tiggah Chicks sitting at 21-2 after games with UNC Wilmington, Western Illinois and Western Carolina and winning by scores of 9-0...9-0...5-0...6-2.

Have no idea about any of those clubs but on the surface, it appears they handled that business against inferior competition. Assumption on my part.

The real Tiggah Chicks open SEC play on the road against 19-2 LSU. Like AU, their 2 losses came on the left coast (UCLA & Oregon).

Chick Tiggahs drop their 2nd in a row in Baton Rude. Absolutely get screwed. They tie it up in the top of the 7th. LSU gets a single to send home the winning run. Throw from the outfield is perfect. Catcher nabs it....is run over by the LSU runner and they call her safe, saying the new rule this year is you can't obstruct the plate if you don't have the ball. Bull....fucking...shit. Horrible call...horrible rule. 23-4.

Swept with a 1-0 loss at Baton Rude. Three games. Three 1-run losses against the #8 team in the nation on the road. Tells me there's serious room for improvement. Time to start cranking up the bats. The D is spot on.

Was a terrible call. Didn't "block the plate" until she had the ball.

No reason to give up on em after that series. We should've won game two, and the pitching for both teams was down right nasty. If Dean can get the bats working a bit better to go along with our pitching, it could be a fun season.

Makayla Martin...can't argue her ERA but she has 3 losses. She fell apart last season if I remember correctly. Our demise will be at the hand of her pitching. She does have some huge cans though.

Yeah she has those losses but she hasn't gotten a lot of run support.
