You have no idea how much I hate losing. The problem is...you are a slicik talking mother fucker sitting behind a key board. I would be willing to bet you have never played a snap of meaningful football in your life. You just want to complain when shit doesn't work out like you want...
I have played a lot of football...I have played a lot of meaningful football. Sometimes the ball bounces you way...sometimes it doesn't...it is people like you that give fans a bad name that say this and that...
The ball didn't bounce Auburn's way tonight but they played hard and they did what it took to win the game. I saw progress tonight. if you didn't...fine...that is why your ass just complains on a message board...
No offfense, dude, but I don't care if you played for the 1984 Bears. Don't care if your name is Favre. Don't care if you're the illegitimate son of Vince Lombardi and gave birth to Walter Payton. Right now, you're nothing more than a fan just like everybody else on here. You've got your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it. So is everybody else.
I hate losing. Period. That's not a criticism. It's a fact. it's not negative. It's a plain and simple fact. I was negative as hell after the first game and the MSU game. There were encouraging signs tonight, sort of, but the only significant difference was that there were fewer penalties and fumbles.
The loss of that game had nothing to do with "ball bounces." That game was lost in execution and the inabilty to do so at critical times. It was lost in conservatism to a degree. It was a game AU could have won. I won't go so far to say it was a game AU should have won, because, honestly, I thought the better team came out on top. LSU made plays when it had to. Far too often, AU didn't. I thought AU was out-coached, too. but that's just my opinion.
So maybe progress was enough for you. When you watch the team put itself in a hole for the most meaningful season goal -- winning the West -- progress is nice, but not very satisfying.
And i still hate losing. I'll always hate it.
