Apparently Alabama won.  I tried turning my phone off, but when everybody you care about is female and they're not all under the same roof you just can't do that.

Turned it on at 11 and it blew up with dumbass texts.

All I know is that one of those assholes disparaged the president.
Another threw punches at an assistant coach.

No matter what is said or written, neither Alabama nor Georgia were the best teams in the game this season.  It was a no win for me. No outcome other than a meteor would have interested me much.

The whole thing needs to be restructured.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I'm good with Alabama winning between the two. Don't pay much attention to their champinship chatter anymore. Georgia however would never shut up had they won.
Seriously does anyone care to hear them talk about a repeat?

Now we can ask them about that MNC back in...1980. And that Hershell Walker... wow what a running back!

That's so true. I don't listen much to them anymore. I might start listening to them if there was ever a investigation into how the entire Tua family moved from Hawaii to Alabaster and how their High School supposedly received a very large donation after Tua signed with Alabama.

We did have our shot.  Controlled our own destiny (that part is what's so heartbreaking) despite the collapse against LSU, and we blew it.  Had we not lost to LSU, chances are we might could have suffered the SECCG loss and still played.  Instead we embarrassed ourselves on NYD against  UCF, making them feel as though hey won the MNC.  Very difficult to fathom just how disappointing a 10 win season is...but it feels like we did nothing.

Honestly, I'd prefer the shithead go, Trump seek him out to look him right in the eye and shake his hand, turn and smile for a photo op, and force the stupid fuck to act like he's happy to be there or make of fool of himself again.

In today's NFL climate, with ratings suffering precisely because of fucking tools like that...he hurt his draft status with that crap, so fuck him.

Mel Kiper thinks he is great so his draft future is secure, no worries about that. Just another Bama RB int he NFL. They are working at about a 30% rate, so good luck.

As I said on Twitter the other day:

Quote
Who would you rather get a nuclear weapon: The superpower you're at war with that already has a devastating arsenal or the third world country that constantly shouts "Death to America" but doesn't presently have the weaponry to back it up?

The enemy just got stronger and more formidable. But at least we didn't start a two-front war.

Wow.  Bama fans are eaten up with the dumbass.

A guy I know and thought was sane and rational just advanced this theory...

Saban could have played Tuho and beaten Auburn but had been in touch with his sources inside the committee.  He knew they’d get in the playoffs no matter what. They didn’t want wisconsin or Ohio State.  So he laid an egg on purpose against Auburn.  Rested the team, healed up, more practice. Georgia didn’t care either. They were already in the SEC game.

It was just a masterful coaching move for Saban and his protege to both lose on purpose to Auburn in a meaningless game.

I think it was established weeks ago that he lost to AU on purpose.
