Everytime I hear Sweet Home Alabama, I always sing the Auburn version, and have to remember to censor myself if I'm around my kids.

We were on a cruise one time and the band played SHA. We had a big group of family and friends, all Auburn peeps. Screamed the AU version of it. They loved us.

Tight games tonight. Cubbies locked up with Jacob DeGrom in a 1-1 tie. Cards holding on to a lead over the Buccos. Brew Crew lose.

Wasn't happy that the Braves had the Rays coming in. 8 game winning streak and having recently swept a 4 game series from my bandwagon Red Sox. But the Bravos answered the call with a 9-5 win. Nats beat the Phillies, so the Braves are up by 4 1/2. I laughed when the Braves announcers sarcastically said the magic number is 27. We're so close.

Cards ending up winning, as did the Cubs. Still 4 back, but +1.5 in the WC.

Rain delay in the 10th with Cubs/Mets. Will finish up today at 12 then have their night game later. Pretty good pitching duel b/w deGrom and Hamels.

I gotta say Hamels has surprised me. Hopefully he can keep this up for a couple more months.

Agreed. In his 6 games in a Cubs uni he is pitching like a 0.77....at least thats what Ron Coomer says.
