Quick update. Of course, I only come here when the Braves win. Otherwise, I have other shit to do. Yep, they sweep the Pirates in a 3 game set. On the road. Helps to offset the 4 game raping the Rockies put on them...and didn't even call any of the mornings after. 3 games up on the Phillies after the Nats came back in the 9th.

Cubs bitch slapped the Tigers 8-2. Currently sit 3 up on the Cards and Beer Makers. Birds are down 1 in the 7th at the Dodgers as I type. On a pitcher's note, which is what I did for my entire baseball "career". Flaherty looks awesome. But, if Jar was watching, he also saw Molina giving this kid instructions on getting on top of his breaking pitches and not letting them flatten out. Dude is behind the plate and showing the pitcher how to grip and release the ball. Are you kidding me??? HOF!!!!!

Braves pitching guys from all levels. Never heard of some of these.

I look at the Cards starting 5 during this run they are on:

Flaherty - Called up in September 2017, but this is is first full year.
Poncedeleon - Rookie
Gomber - Rookie
Gant - 3rd year (he was a rookie in 2016 with Atlanta - Traded to STL for Jamie Garcia)
Mikolas - Only real vet in the starting 5, but he hadn't pitched in the majors since 2014.

Yeah, you don't go on a run like the cards have with those 5 guys without a HOF at catcher.
