We should crack the top 25, but maybe not. I don't think anyone is going to give us much respect at this point. And given our loooooong history of suckaliciousness, that's fair. If we keep winning into the conference schedule, we'll get our due.
Nationally, #1 Villanova lost to Butler, so there'll be a shake up at the top. Michigan State will move in to that slot with Arizona State 2nd and probably Duke at #3. I see a ton of great athletes out there but very few good teams. My Dookies are a bunch of freshmen, one of which is Marvin Bagley, the best player in college basketball IMO. They're talented as hell but they've played from behind most of the season, including tonight against FSU. (100-93 win) BTW, the Noles are not someone you want to tangle with.
Like I said, a ton of talented teams, but not many overall great teams, which leaves it wide open. Right now, I'd put my money on Izzo and the Spartans. Sick amount of size and talent. And a coach who knows how to get the most out of his kids.
