If we lose cause of shootty play calling, Gus should be given a coach ticket on Spirit airlines with 3 stops and 2 hour lay overs at each stop for his ride home to Arkansas.

So, aTm looks average as grits against Miss St.

Does that mean we lose a another 20 point lead in the second half for another choke?

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

We OUGHT to be feeling comfortable about a win in CS.  But, Gus and/or his alter-ego, will keep us all in suspense until the offense takes the field Saturday.

Hopefully Gus doesn't see aTm as a tough opponent now.

I'm probably being ultra-critical here, but Lindsay may well be as clueless as Malzahn vis a vis coaching/managing players.

"Any time you play really good teams, you get a chance to make plays," he said. "I think back to Clemson we had some opportunities down the field and we didn't make the plays. We either didn't make the right kind of throw or we didn't make the contested catches down the field. LSU, same thing. Two plays in the second half if we catch the ball or make a little better throw it changes the game -- and we didn't do that."

In those two games it wasn't the goddamned execution that cost the game.  Well, it was partly, but the playcalling deserves at least 50% of the blame in those debacles.

That's the sad part.

I have no confidence whatsoever.  Could come out and play well, could crap the bed.  Neither would be a surprise.

Defenses load the box against us. We counter with deep routes which can and should lower the chances for a completion. He just doesn't get it. If we constantly fail on pass attempts within 20 yards I might say he has a legitimate gripe.
