Here's what bothers me about the whole thing.
Someone has decided what is 'right' and 'appropriate' and any thing that isn't within that scope demands punishment and public derision.
If Cam doesn't like women journalists or finds their questions amusing, that's his personal opinion. At what point did holding an opinion that runs counter to the determined norm begin to require a punitive response?
Doesn't that shit all over the first amendment?
Yes it does. But Cam has more responsibility than most to say and do the politically correct thing. Even at the expense of his beliefs, imo. He owes it to his sponsors and team ownership.
Same with kneelers.
But I would think it an easy decision to drop these guys. Shows what I know. They could seemingly urinate on the flag and plenty would make excuses for them.
Most of the left seems more concerned with the kneeler's right to protest than other's right to boycott the NFL and its sponsors.
Which I am doing. It's my small part. No Nike, under armour or Budweiser, etc.
