We're getting hammered here in the Wiregrass.  Well, by hammered, I mean constant wind gusts, supposedly going to be getting over 70 m.p.h.  Pretty dang skippy out there now.  Power has already been out once.  We're getting outside of this thing and it's right on the verge of all I want.  Opal was horrible in 95'.  Consistently 80-100 here all night long.  Said I wasn't doing that anymore.  I can't imagine what it has been like for those that faced the brunt of this thing.  Looks like we're going to get this all day before it's out of our area.  Got me a hot cup of java and I'm hunkering down for the day.

Don't know about those rich parts of town the GF lives in, but they have the power back on for us poor people in West Palm Beach.  My neighbors from Chicago had the brilliant idea to stand their trampoline up on its side and tie it to two trees so the wind wouldn't blow it away.  I now have two big trees laying in my yard with a mangled fence underneath.
