I'm not much for the alternate uniform versions. Most of them are awful. I saw one today, though, that illustrates how much better UnderArmour can be at the uniform thing than anybody else.
Notre Dame's "Rockne Uniforms" are pretty sweet. The subtle recreation of the leather helmets and old-time shoes is really done well. I'm impressed. I don't care one whit about Notre Dame but I will watch some of their Nov. 18 game just to see these in action.
As good as these are, they don't make up for UnderArmour's Maryland abortions.
At the other end of the spectrum are these vomit-inducing Adidas uniforms for A&M.
They look like a shirt from the old lady section at JC Penneys.
