I can see his logic transferring: be the big fish in the little pond and get noticed rather than languish on the sidelines and hope to catch an eye during pro scout workouts.

I disagree with him, but I can see why he would take one more shot at finding the right spot for himself.

Clifford Franklin IVXX has some talent. His biggest asset is he's shitcherpants fast. The right situation, the right team, the right conference, he might blow it up and get some serious looks from either NFL or Canadian scouts. Dude has his degree so taking one last shot to be the big fish you mentioned is a no-brainer.

That wasn't happening at AU. Never was. Should never have been recruited as a QB in the first place. This staff (One former staffer) had no business thinking this kid could be a QB in this league. I think FSU took a flyer hoping they'd catch lightning in a bottle with him as an athlete but they never seriously thought he'd take a snap under center.

I don't think he's a football player. I think he's a very fast athlete trying to play football. He's very raw but also very lost out there. It's like watching someone play back yard ball.
