Just found out Ted Nugent will be in The Gump Sunday night.  Just secured 2 tix front and center.  Saw The Nuge in the late 70's with Nazareth.  By far, the loudest concert I've ever been to.  I hope he fucks up my hearing again.  I'm taking mini.  He took up the bass last year and thinks he knows about rock.  My hope is that he leaves there without a face.

I threw up in the back of a cab, and woke up face down in my hotel room bathroom. It took me 2 hours to eat a bagel the next morning. I probably drank a solid 5 years off my life that night, and it was fucking worth it.

Sweet Haysus.  The man is 69 and I've never seen a better rock guitar player in my life.  I just stood there in awe for 2 hours.  But I came away really unsure if he's conservative or liberal.  I really couldn't tell.  It was such a kumbayah atmosphere and I just felt the warmth when he said, "If you're not killing assholes, you're an asshole." 

So glad I went.  Great opening band.  Local Gump band called OTI (Outside the Inside)  played all original stuff and really rocked the house to open for Uncle Ted.
