After a fiscal year in which Auburn brought in a program record revenue, it's no surprise the Tigers are among the NCAA's leaders when it comes to raking in the cash.
AL.com reported in February that Auburn brought in a program record $140,070,592 during the 2016 fiscal year, including a profit of $15,206,194. On Thursday, USA Today released its annual study of program finances, which gave a better idea of how Auburn stacks up against other programs across the nation and in the SEC.
The USA Today database shows that Auburn ranks 10th in the nation in total revenue for the 2016 fiscal year. Auburn's revenue total ranks sixth in the SEC, behind Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Florida and Tennessee. The Aggies led the nation in total revenue at $194,388,450; Alabama was fourth.
