Kind of figured this would happen. I think everyone pretty much knows Stidham will start with White and Willis  not too far behind him. Then, you have a very good chance Joey Gatewood will be signing with Auburn not too long from now.

Yeah, I'm not following. What did Gus do, recruit better QB's? The guy apparently has an arm, athleticism and at least a decent amount of talent.  But he's 4th string and has already burned a red shirt.  Unfortunately, that's the way it is with players these days at all programs.  They want to play.  Can't really blame him.

Ok.  But why?  Is it lack of arm strength?  Lack of mobility?  Lack of awareness? A combination? Was it his failure to learn or our failure to teach? 

I wanted him to stick around if only to see what a completely developed Gus Malzahn quarterback project looked like.  But I'm not caking my pants over it.

What we have seen are two new QBs come in, one a transfer and the other fresh out of HS, and learn the plays while leapfrogging Woody on the depth chart. Yes there is a new OC/QB coach but they have all had the same amount of time in the new system.

One could say failure to teach but the same argument as mentioned disqualifies this imo. However, none of us will know 100% till September.

How can Stidham come in and look like the QB with possibly the best all around arm we've seen at AU?  How can Malik Willis come in as a teen that should be at his prom, but instead, is turning heads with his overall game?  How can Woody Barrett come in and never sniff of the top 2 rotation?  Look freakin horrible in warm ups?  Have HS coaches say after a clinic that this kid was lucky to complete a pass?

I wish the kid luck.  Hope he blows it away wherever he goes.  But our 4th string QB just decided to go elsewhere.  Why is this an issue for anyone?
