2017 Draft
« on: April 14, 2017, 04:01:44 PM »
Saw a mock draft where it was predicted the Panthers would take tub of shit OJ Howard from UA with their first pick.

While I find humor in the thought of moronic bama fans hoping Cam gets hit just as he throws to that overrated blob? That's a franchise killing move.

What they need is a bitch slappin', do-it-all running back like Joe Mixon.  A back with break away speed that you can throw it to about 90 times out of the back field.  I'm tired of that plodding, 3-4 yards a run crap they've been doing for years.  They have a tight end.  Frick that!

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Howard is an athletic freak, but I can't really figure out how he shot up to the top of the draft board. Do people really think if he was THAT good of a player, Alabama wouldn't have found a way to make him a key part of their offense?

They always have a few receivers that stretch the field. Their running backs get plenty of recognition. But we're supposed to believe that Howard just didn't get the ball thrown to him enough?

There's something missing from him. There's always a reason why someone doesn't perform up to their potential.

100% bust material.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Heard Myles Garrett (of aTm lore and expected #1 pick) say when asked who the toughest blocker he faced in college: "Shon Coleman." Interviewers acted surprised he didn't blow one of Alabama's vaunted tackles.

To follow up, the Panthers did pick McCaffrey and a quick RB out of tOSU.  But what's almost disturbing is this quote from offensive guru, Mike Shula, on the dot  I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!!  I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others.  I like male genatalia in and around my mouth..

"In the Super Bowl, how many passes do you think (New England Patriots quarterback) Tom Brady threw to his backs? Mostly completed, right?" [/b]Carolina offensive coordinator Mike Shula told Sports Illustrated's Peter King. "So maybe sometimes it turns into just a 4-yard gain. But I'll take a 4-yard gain. ... They're glorified runs sometimes, but they work and it doesn't matter what you call them."

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it almost looks like he watched the Super Bowl and it dawned on him that you could actually do something with a RB besides hand it off to him between the tackles.
