Trent Richardson's path back to the NFL, which was fawningly documented by our friends at al.com, despite the fact that all he even managed to get was an invitation to try out (same as was given to Uncle Rico and 11,000 other former high school athletes), continues with today's installment.

Not content to merely try out for an NFL team, Richardson seeks to even the playing field somewhat by getting himself arrested on domestic violence charges.  He's so good, you see, that it wouldn't be fair to the other aspiring athletes unless he added an albatross to his chances.  But what NFL organization wouldn't want to take a chance on the next Maurice Clarett? 

What a fantastic guy.  When I grow up I want my momma to housesit so I can drive a new rental car every day.
