Yeah but isn't that what you are doing.  You are equating him playing to equaling that he would be a good coach.

and I'm just fucking around cause he's a homo.

It's how he plays and his knowledge. Favre and manning are same way. Like having an extra coach on the field. His body limits him a lot. Always has. I think history will be kinder to him as time passes. I remember what the qbs for Dallas looked like between aikman and romo. It was a who's who of fail. It's hard to believe romo has a top 5 all time qbr. But it's true.

All that said I think Dak is their guy.

It's like you guys think that coaching and playing are the same thing. Strangest damn thing today.

Preach! Magic Johnson sucked as a coach. So did Larry Bird.

And I don't know that romo would be a great coach. I think he would be good. It suits his personality. And if anyone has ever listened to him on the sideline or in the huddle he has a huge grasp on the game.

from the wikis (So, it's true)

In 1997, Bird accepted the position of coach of the Indiana Pacers and said he would be on the job for no more than three years. Despite having no previous coaching experience, Bird led the Pacers to a 58–24 record—the franchise's best as an NBA team at the time—in the 1997–98 season, and pushed the Bulls to seven games in the Eastern Conference finals. He was named the NBA Coach of the Year for his efforts, becoming the only man in NBA history to have won both the MVP and Coach of the Year awards. He then led the Pacers to two consecutive Central Division titles in 1999 and 2000, and a berth in the 2000 NBA Finals.

If he didn't have all those good players, you'd see what a shitty coach he really was.

Speaking of...one of the 4th graders calling in to our local show to bitch and whine about this past Saturday asked, "How does Alabama get all these 5 star players at QB and we can't sign a half decent QB?"

Now, while there is a bit of legitimacy to the question, the fact that he used Alabama as the comparison deserved a:

It's not that. But you have a rookie qb rb combo leading the nfls best record. That's news. And pretty impressive.
Not dissing Dak because it is impressive for a rookie but a returning Romo would have the benefit of a better than average defense, one of the best offensive lines, Elliott, and that full complement of receivers running all ALONE against what has been a seriously shitty schedule save the Steelers and their sorry pass defense.

That said...the entire league aside from Dallas is flawed in some regard and NO you do not mess with the chemistry Dak has with that team even though Romo is a better QB, often injured, but better IMO.

Too many teams with sucky QBs. Maybe Romo makes one good enough to stomach watching.

I think playing Romo is a trade off you don't want.  I've always liked Romo at QB.  And the fact that he's been all up in Carrie Underwood's top shelf snizz, makes me pledge my eternal loyalty to the man.  But, I think the only positive at this point would be a more consistent deep ball.  (He was balls deep in Carrie) Maybe.  Otherwise, Prescott gives you more options.  He's been very accurate.  He's very good in the roll outs and he definitely gives you a run option that's non-existent with Romo.
