A few news and notes, observations at the half way point of the season.

Tom Brady came back and the Pats are clicking on all cylinders.  7-1.  About 8 go-to receivers.  Gonna' be tough to beat.  The rest of their division is .500 or worse.

Battle of two rookies tonight in Wentz and Prescott.  Both have had their moments but Dak looked like a rookie for the first time this year on the last couple of drives.  Otherwise, he's been awesome for the 5-1 Cowboys.

After two last minute losses, the Falcons close one out against Mr. Discount Double Check.  Unreal last minute drive by Matt Ryan to go ahead with 30 seconds to play.  5-3.

Panthers get back on track.  2-5 now but a long way to go.  A nice win over Carson Palmer and the Cards.

Look at this division.  The AFC West is loaded.  The Raidah's 6-2.  The Broncos 6-2.  The Chiefs 5-2.  And the Chargers, who can't figure out how to close a freaking game out are 3-5.  BTW, Derrick Carr of Oakland threw for over 500 yards today.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

I thought Cam was absolutely correct in calling out the officials and the league for all the cheap shots on him. Tony Dungy said on NBC that Cam should have let his coach and the owner do the complaining, but it's beyond that. He's one of the most popular players in the NFL and has missed games due to shots to the head. Something has to change.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

And how about that Dak Prescott?

How about that Dak!
He's setting the Cowboys up to be in the Super Bowl against Tahmay Brady.

What could be better than this?

Mistreatment? This is more like the Zimmerman defense!

Correct.

It's his head getting bashed. It's his life. I don't see his lame ass coaches doing much. They care about wins. Or not. At least not Shula.
