We played a solid half. Did nothing in the second.
Not sure why Pettway was run into the ground when we need him for the games ahead. This is in response to him sitting out last week nursing an injury.

We have a very good defense under Steele.
Too bad we have to have Gus for a Head Coach because with Steele's defense and Gus running the offense we might be
undefeated.

"Head Coach" has to have an all out conniption fit when his money kicker takes a shot to the head no matter the severity.
Gamesmanship counts.

We can win nine but at our current level of play (60 minutes) we are closer to seven.

Oh I don't know to melt clock maybe? If we go three and out every series and only burn 90 seconds and give it back to them you guys would bitch about that too. Esp if state had made it 35-24 as a result. They knew they had the game won at the half. They simply needed to salt the clock away with minimal damage. Jesus H we blew an sec team out on the road. We could have hung 60+ if desired.

In case you haven't noticed we were about 1 scholly player deep at Rb for this game. Would you guys rather have aired it out 30 times in the second half handing msu the ball every 2 mins? We get an off week now. Pettway is fine. CarryOn will be back for the pigs. We did what we needed to do to win the game and come out unscathed. May be the only game Pettway is asked to do that by himself.

Our defense is for real for the first time in forever. Offense is improving. We are getting dangerous and could conceivably have one loss left on schedule.

No argument from me. We are better talent wise than all but one. Our offensive line is coming along and we had a chance to carve up that secondary yesterday but passed. White has been deadly accurate and I like our chances the rest of the way, but we can't go in a shell, play around on 4th and short when in Legatron's range or go three straight dive plays out of the shotgun in the redzone without one pass attempt.

I wouldn't concede any game. I think Bert plays us tough. The Reb game might be a wild shootout, same for UGA.The Turd's are slow starters but if we can run up two scores on them quickly we might play inspired football the rest of the game and give ourselves a chance.

How's that for a positive perspective?
