Hurricane Jen and her two "tropical giving me a depression"'s will be making landfall in BHM tomorrow.  Screw this "Ike" shit - we are outta here.  We are flying out tomorrow at 10am.  We'll be in Wetumpka/Montgomery for the next TWO FREAKING WEEKS - so someone somewhere had best be planning a happy hour for me to attend, so I will be able to relax and not have homicidal thoughts about living under the same roof as my mother for two freaking weeks.  (God help us all.)

Carl is going to ride out the storm here with our next door neighbor, who has a generator and multiple chainsaws.  He will head east once the storm passes.  Y'all keep him in your prayers - I will be worried sick about him being here, and I doubt there will be power or much cell phone reception when it's all over, so it may be a few days before I hear from him to know he is okay.

I'll have my cell phone, and internet access once I get to my folks' house in Wetumpka.

If nothing else, I'll see you gooberheads on Gameday!!!
