They're Just So Fast

from the dot  I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!!  I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others.  I like male genatalia in and around my mouth.

There is a consistent, albeit friendly, argument between Auburn's football players as to who among them is the fastest.

The skill position players naturally have the most to say on the subject and while the Tigers have several former high school sprinters on the roster, three wide receivers all cited a redshirt-freshman cornerback as being the fastest member of the team.

"We've had this argument a lot," said Darius Slayton, a Georgia high school champion in both the 100 and 200 meters. "We have a lot of fast guys. I always like to say I like to get on the line and race. ... I think Javaris (Davis) is the fastest right now by time."

Stanton Truitt, a slot receiver who was a member of a state champion 4x100 relay team in high school, also gives the nod to Davis, a native of Jacksonville, Florida who was a state runner-up in both the 100 meters and 4x100 relay in high school.

"We really haven't had any races. It (would) be a tough one though," Truitt said. "I know I'm really fast but I'm going to go with JD."

With his touted speed Javaris Davis can certainly be a good matchup against slot receivers.  Davis, who has not been available for interviews during his year on campus, claimed to run the 40-yard dash in a team-best 4.18 seconds when Auburn's players were timed by the strength and conditioning staff in late April.

For comparison purposes, the NFL Combine record of 4.24 seconds was set by Chris Johnson in 2008 and former Auburn cornerback Jonathan Jones ran it in 4.33 seconds, best among corners and third-fastest overall at this year's Combine.

Davis' speed makes him even more valuable to the Auburn secondary.

He was competing with Jamel Dean for a starting job prior to Dean's knee injury and was also working at punt return. Now a projected starter Davis will draw matchups against some of the fastest receivers in the SEC this fall.

"That guy, he can run," senior wide receiver Marcus Davis said. "He can give you a little extra at the line, because he know he can run with you. It's always good to go against him because he's a competitive guy. He's always around the ball."

Which is the more accurate measure of speed: catch a squirrel fast or shit your pants fast? I've heard both used but I'm not sure which is which.

I'll hang up and listen.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
