Okay, so I am dragging the husband and two kids over 700 miles so I can breathe the sweet air of the Plains.  Which of you goobers is planning to be there with me??  Just wondering how many restraining orders I will need...

Also, Carl's birthday is 18Sept, so I will be bringing birthday cake of some kind... he may be too drunk to eat it, but I will never let alcohol get between me and a piece of birthday cake.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Carl is not a violent person, but even he has a problem with a man trying to stick a tongue in his ear and a hand down his pants.   My suggestion to avoid bloodshed is to limit your attentions to jumbo or Howard.

We will probably get there noon-ish too.  We are bringing another couple with us - Carl's best friend from LSU and his wife - they are both doctors, live in Baton Rouge and are the ones who host us in the Club Level at Tiger Stadium every other year.  They are awesome people.  In fact, they are also the source for our LSU - bammer tickets this year.  CANNOT. WAIT. for that game.
