See I don't know if this is BS or not.  Because again...

I thought last year he was focusing on just the offense? That's why we hired former coach/defensive jeanus Will Muschomp?  I know through Sean that he was calling the majority of the plays last season, when he was QB anyways.

So was he actively involved in the offense but not prepared?

It was clear that by the end of the season, the whole dynamic had changed on the sideline.  It appeared, at least to me, that he tried to let Boy Wonder call the shots early on but had to take everything back over by season's end. That's the impression I got but hell, I though Jeremy Johnson was Cam Lite, so what do I know?

What I do know is that at times, it was a clustefuck of epic proportions.  Slowed way down...constant substitutions...head scratching play calling.

Like I said when Sean was in the game Gus was calling the plays.

I think this has more to do with the idea that maybe he wasn't as involved with play calling last year as previously. And, not so much re: defense.

Honestly, I don't think he was as involved last year on offense but I don't believe it would've made much difference. And I agree that he appeared to be more hands on toward the end of the season.

Regardless, there isn't a play caller alive that could do much with the QB situation that we had. And hopefully, won't have the same now.

I think Malzahn can take a healthy White boy and make us have a better than average season if everything goes right. That's about it. But I don't think the Cashlee playbook can do it.

Begs the question.

Do we really have to pay Rhett Lashlee over $600,000 a year to stand around and tell Gus how great he is?  I'd do it for half that.  And look better doing it.

For $600,000 a year we could get 3.3 Cam Newtons.  Is one Lashlee worth 3.3 Cams?

And another thing.  Lashlee made more than Dameyune Craig by $100k+.  He makes more than Rodney Garner. He made more than Lance Thompson.  He'll make more than Herb Hand.  More than McGriff.  Way more

That's who Malzahn is.  And that, more than anything, makes me tired of Malzahn.  What does Lashlee contribute to justify that kind of salary or preferential treatment? Why are we handing him more than half a million a year?

Is he an outstanding recruiter?  No.
Is he a great coordinator?  Fuck no.

What. Does. He. Do?

Tuberville had his BBQ club.  But almost all of those coaches had success and have continued their careers, some to decent success.

Where the hell else could Rhett Lashlee get hired?

Malzahn believes he can prevent himself from being a CEO again and that he and his staff will run the Auburn program "very well" next year.
and maybe from being a major-conference head coach too

We have ten plays scripted which is the norm. Then we mix run plays and wide screens to set up a deep throw. If we happen to connect the wildcat is in effect. Sneaky no?

Every time you come back on here before serving your full suspension, it just adds time to it.

If you want to keep forcing it, I can see to it that you sit out most of the upcoming season. (see Chizad) If you want it, you'll get it. Just keep it up and see what happens.

What in the wide, wide world of sports do you have to do to get suspended from here?

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Yes but we have plans to use the fullback more and as an added surprise...the tight end. It's gonna be some mind-blowing stuff.
