Alabama's Governor ... and why he will survive
« on: April 01, 2016, 11:01:02 AM »
Bentley used the University of Alabama to help launder money that was going to his squeeze.

When and if  the "investigations" get truly cranked, that will be his salvation.  HE may have done wrong, but they won't let UA get caught up in it and will shut it all down to avoid the scrutiny.

I can't see the Goobener getting past this unscathed. I like Pittman's bill though. Saves  $9 million

The Houston County Republican Executive Committee overwhelmingly voted on a resolution for Gov. Bentley to resign.  It mirrors the same result of the Montgomery Rep. Executive Committee.  In reading an article about it, we were offered another pearl of wisdom from the same man that gave us the historical quotes:

"What wrong wit da' beer we got now?" and,

"It drank pretty good, don't it?"

During discussion on the impending vote, the distinguished Mr. Alvin Holmes stated, "Ain't no law against havin' a girlfriend".

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."
