All I can recall is the classless jab he made during a meeting with some nurses at the state capital a year ago. He made the remark "Do you guys have a football team up there?" to a group of UAB nursing students after his tuscaloosa gang shut the program down.
No offense to my friends of the denomination but he's a typical southern baptist holier than thou hypocrite. He talks the talk and condemns those who aren't his brothers and sisters, name drops God on a regular basis but has skeletons dressed up in leather and lace boogeying in his own closet.
Sanctimonious creeps like him are a prime reason many people turn away from the faith. His piousness alienates people in the first place. His propensity to lie and cover up his failures demeans the flag of faith in which he wraps himself. Then his ugly sham-repentant true nature causes people to reject the Christisn message altogether.
People like him are the false prophets. They are the devil in flesh.
