Pimping ain't easy -- except for ESPN

ESPN:  The Extra Slimy Pimp Network.

Last night's broadcast was the most vomitous affair in recent memory.  Among the spew-inducing offenses:

1) A separate crawl for the "Coliseum Collision" giving us updates on the OSU-USC game this Saturday
2) The Three Penigos in the booth adamantly declaring that should Ohio State beat USC, they should -- no question -- be moved to #1 in the polls.  Up from 5, jump Georgia. 
3) The Three Penigos in the booth declaring that situations like this (OSU jumping from 5 to 1) are among the reasons they are "glad they have a vote".
4) The Three Penigos claiming that should USC lose, they should only drop to 2.

I really hate ESPN with a passion.  The winner of the OSU-USC game is all but ordained to get a BCS-NC berth.  And should the loser only drop that single game there will be a rematch regardless of what the rest do.

The worst part of that shit is that I would like to watch and enjoy games like USC-Ohio St.  I'd really wanted to check out the Michigan-OSU game of 2006.  But ESPN hypes those teams up so much that I can't stand to watch them.

Think about it - what has USC done (besides beat us in 2003) to warrant a hatred against them?  Win?  You fault them for winning? 

I hate USC because the media has sucked more semen out of their balls than Asian women did for Ghengis Khan.
