One of my buddies told me this morning that he's getting his daughter out of the apartment complex she is in over in Mobile while she attends South Alabama. They had a 3rd shooting at the complex in the short time she's been there. But this time, the "shooting" was turned on the bad guy. From Fox 10

Mobile Police has released the name of a man involved in a robbery Monday night at Twin Oaks apartments on Old Shell Road near the University of South Alabama.
According to Mobile Police spokesperson Charlette Solis, 18-year-old Michael Lanier Clark was shot and killed during a robbery attempt at the apartment complex.
In a release to the media, Solis said, "the victim, 28, stated that as he was unloading groceries from his car, an unknown subject approached and robbed him of his wallet at gunpoint. During the robbery, the victim managed to grab his own pistol, which was in his pocket, and shot the subject through his pocket. The subject fled on foot running across the parking lot."
The release went on to say that police found Clark in the breezeway of one of the apartment buildings with the victim's wallet in his left hand and a revolver on the ground near his right hand. They say he had been shot once in the center of the chest and once to the right side of the chest. Clark was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say the shooting was justifiable and the case will now be presented to the grand jury.
