Was Chizik's God talk as unsettling and disturbing as the teary-eyed stuff that emanates from Chipmunk Freeze?
He may believe that stuff at the core of his being, but it comes off as incredibly smarmy and insincere.
"God has been so good to us..."
After beating Alabama. After winning last night.
I guess God was taking a nap when Memphis pushed their shit it. And maybe He was doing some stuff for Notre Dame when Arkansas lateraled their way to knocking the Rebs out of the SEC-CG.
Freeze reminds me of the smarmy super Baptist (sorry Baptist friends) who turns out to be diddling kids or addicted to torture porn or stealing money at the bank. I actually knew that guy. Never failed to invoke God at every turn, Baptist deacon, oozing the cheese. Bank VP who would make lending decisions based on "faith." And then he got canned from bank for playing the shell game. Moving money from account to account to try to stay ahead of the cash he was stealing. Of course he threw himself tearfully on the altar and begged forgiveness for giving in to the temptation of Satan.
Anyway, I'm no Christian hater at all, but Freeze makes me feel like cringing. He looks so fake.
