in The Ham' Bowl? Yes, winding up in this Bowl is pretty much an embarrassment. No need to go there. It is what it is. The game will be played. So, what do you want to see from this bunch in the final game of the year? A win....duh! I think there's several things that may happen that could indicate the direction of this team for 2016. For instance, if Sean White gets the nod over JJ, does that pretty much spell the end of Johnson's career Auburn? Or if JJ starts, and plays the majority of the game, are they going to try and develop him further for 2016.
P. Barber needs 53 yards to get to 1,000 and keep a long streak alive for Malzahn and AU. I expect he'll start and get most of the carries until he breaks that mark.
Something I hope we don't see is several guys pulling a Sammie. No disrespect and I know he's GF's boyee, but he tanked the bowl game last year. I can't blame him and plenty of others have done it. Hell, that's what Lord Saybinz blamed the loss to tOSU on. Why risk being $et up for life for a meaningless game? He's just the most recent for AU. Are we going to see a couple of "Twisted ankles" or "tight hammies" on guys like Lawson or Montravelosity just before the game? And if so, does that let us know they've played their last game in orange and blue?
I'd love to see Gus get Barber his 1,000 but otherwise, open up the play book and let them have fun. Run a few trick plays. Do something NOBODY would ever expect...throw it on first down. GASP!!!!
