I think it stays interesting for a quarter or two, but I think Spurrier found his man again in Smelley.   USC wins by 10.

I think USC's Defense will make the difference in this game, their D is pretty fuckin' nasty....and by nasty, I mean Bad Mutha Fuckin' Ass.  I like Smelley in the individual matchup against Nickson.  I've got a feeling that Nickson won't make it out of this game with out a lot of dirt, grass, and blood on his jersey.

I would like to see the upset. I think Bobby Johnson is one of the most underrated coaches in the SEC. However, he lost most of what was probably the best talent that program has ever had. Spurrier will  probably wind up beating them by at least 20 points.

Don't forget about the Redskins being on tonight also. Jason Campbell is going to have to step it up this year because Colt Brennan looked pretty decent during the preseason. Depth chart goes JC ais #1, Collins #2, and Brennan #3, but if JC falters, Brennan will see playing time.

That is freaking awesome! Bobby Johnson will not be at Vandy much longer. I have talked about him for the last couple of years as being an underrated coach. When he gets to a school where he can recruit top notch players, look out. If UAT would have hired him, with his discipline and knowledge of the game, they might actually be on their way back for real. Instead they hire a greedy journeyman who could not care less about  integrity and developing the players.

What's up with SC?  How do you rip NCST a new one at what...30-0?  And then have Vandy embarrass you.  I know the ACC is not good this year but still.

If you watched that game...USC looked like complete ass against a very bad NC State team. And last night USC gave that game to Vandy. So to answer your question... a very over rated #24 team, giving the ball game away with turn overs and weak special teams play, equals a MILD upset in the mighty conference we call the SEC.

The key to that game was Smelly...and he was. The whole first half, every ball he threw was just "off".

In the SEC, you cannot wait till the 4th quarter to try and pull your head out.

NC State lost their QB in that game. They were bad, but still were in it till the 4th quarter.

SC has an excellent defense but Spurrier has not had a decent QB there yet. When he does, it could get ugly. But that won't be this year.

Vandy, quick as hell and very explosive. Don't make any mistakes against them of their talent could hurt you. I haven't seen a white boy run like that in awhile.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

True. But I think Smelley can be the man there in cock land. He showed pretty good poise in the 4th quarter to me. I didn't see the first half though.
