Win and go home?
« on: December 03, 2015, 12:57:14 AM »
So Finebaum thinks that if the cavemen win the national championship, the tin pot dictator will pack up his shit and leave.

Let's assume it's true.  Worth it?  If you knew he would take his cheating ass to the Colts or Texas or where ever should they bullshit their way to another crown would you hope they won it?  What's another lie on top of a mountain of lies?  Is 16 any different than 15 or 7 or 4 or whatever it really is?

I got to say I wouldn't.  Fuck him. At some point Emmert is going to leave. The NCAA should eventually eviscerate that program.  I'd like for him to be there when the hammer falls.

I think he would be an absolute idiot to leave. He has his dream job. Bama is arguable the best job FOR HIM in the country - College or NFL. They are all on the same page up there, they give him total control, he has Al.com and the state media in his back pocket, no drug "policy" (cough cough)and no salary cap for his store bought players. He would be sacrificing at least 2 or 3 of those things going ANYWHERE else.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

He's not leaving. Next season Alabama will look exactly the same as they have since 2008 and like it has been since 2008, it will take us beating them to put them back in the right place.
