This is the perfect gameday meal or appetiser. You can always grill the sausages but the final product is about melding if all together. I use a large skillet with lid. The storebrand will work in fact I use mild sausage.
Directions: You need two pks of sausages 8-10 count total. Place in skillet, cover with water boiling on high.
When water receeds recover with water and repeat.
While boiling sixteenth one onion, one red bell pepper and one green bell pepper along with 2 cloves of garlic...set aside. *You will want the peppers and onion about the size of your thumb.
When water nearly boils away from sausages introduce onions, peppers and garlic while replacing lid to skillet. You want to jostle and brown the sausages around while candying the peppers.
This is state fair food without an overabundance of grease.
Serve in white bread, hoagie rolls or standalone.
