Honestly, Cruz and Rubio are the only that makes any damn sense to be Prez. The rest are VP material except for Bush. Please, let's not let him anywhere near the White House. There is something about Cruz I don't like though. I think its his voice and his face. Reminds me of a Muppet or something. I know that shouldn't disqualify him as a candidate but it's a tough hurdle for me.

Cruz is solid.

Comes off sometimes as a televangelist sometimes but the boy good. His background is debate and courtroom litigation. He would make the general debates fun. Plus he sticks to his guns.

Let me start off by saying I know exactly why someone would see those comments and react harshly. On the surface they may seem a little shortsighted of him. But checking the emotions at the door for a sec, they were still immigrants by the technical definition of the word. It was just a FORCED migration which is the key. I think most assume that immigration is always the picture of "dreaming of a better life and taking a chance to start a new life in another land". Unfortunately some immigrants were forced to migrate here under much harsher conditions. So while technically true what he said, I personally would have steered clear of wording it that way especially since that is such a sensitive issue and it's usually a no-win kind of topic.

True. But they were still forced migrants. The means was different but at the end of the day they ended up being immigrants. I think Ben just chose poor wording. Which he's done often.
