Fuck ESPN (again)
« on: June 14, 2015, 03:00:57 PM »
I didn't watch it.  Only heard about it.  I hate ESPN.

Allegedly they counted Auburn among the SEC schools where police give preferential treatment.  Apparently the fact that we don't have as many crimes reported as other schools proves we cover them up.  No evidence was offered. No documentation was provided. The Auburn athletes interviewed apparently said that from what they know from their experiences and what they hear from others, Auburn police are actually harder on them than the cops at other schools are on their athletes.  That didn't stop that fat-faced fuck Bob Ley from pontificating.

I'm SICK OF THIS SHIT.  I'm tired of being swept up in crap like this just because the fucking assholes like hearing our name.  Earlier this year there was a big thing on CNNSI about schools doing shit wrong.  Auburn wasn't mentioned but an enormous ass photo of our stadium was the image that covered the spread.  If people don't read -- and they don't -- they look at that and go "damn, Auburn up to shit again..."

It makes me want to blow shit up.

Edit: So I went and found the written version of this fucking ridiculous shit.  Jesus GOD, I hate these motherfuckers.

Quote

Last fall, to determine how often crimes involving college athletes are prosecuted and what factors influence them, Outside the Lines requested police reports involving all football and men's basketball players on rosters from 2009 to 2014 from campus and city police departments covering 10 major programs: Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.  So they chose TEN programs and just happened to pick Auburn, when even the daughter of the coach in Tuscaloosa can't stay off the police radar?  Bullshit.  Fuck you ESPN.

AU had the lowest number of athletes involved in crimes, one of the lowest number of repeat offenders and the lowest number of cases that were booted out and not prosecuted.

Again -- FUCK you ESPN. Eat my shit and die.

All u saw was the ticker about "BREAKING NEWS!!!!!" rolling across the bottom of the screen re: the findings of their in-depth investigation and I assumed correctly that AU would be one of the ten schools. Even wondered if UA would possibly be one. Certainly a stupid thing to wonder.

Meh.

No impact. Findings suggest athletes get lesser penalty because the schools defend them and they have access to high profile attorneys. No shit. I didn't need to investigate and I could've told them that. And it's not just at these 10 schools.

They are dipshits for narrowing the focus to these ten, yes. And 40% are SEC and of course no Bama. But Meh. It's nothing to be concerned about in the least.

They still may not know who we are, but we're contenders now.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."
