Given the shitty end of the stick they've been forced to deal with since the program's inception, I think it's safe to say they have done as well as could be expected under the circumstances. UAB is no threat whatsoever to either bama or Auburn - no different than Troy, JSU, Troy, or UNA. Their only enemies are their own university system and the Bryant family.
Why not give them a sporting chance to succeed? They might actually do it.
