April 4th was the 150th anniversary of him burning the university of alabama to the ground.

I want to like him for that but I just can't. 
Plus who knows what may have happened if he did not burn it down?  It may not have become the cesspool that it is today.

When news of Croxton's action reached General Forrest's headquarters, the conversation went something like this:
