Pro Bowl. Who watched? Who cares?
« on: January 26, 2015, 10:38:10 AM »
I caught a bit of it. I was shocked at the goal posts.

Cody Parkey actually converted his two PATs. From 35 yds and goal posts 14' 6" wide!

The rest of what I saw was fluff. Although it did look like Matt Ryan would benefit from a better line! Duh!

And to devalue the game even more, how in the hell did the EWOK make it?

Any other observations.

True. But the ones he missed would most likely have been good on an 18'6" wide goal.

I almost turned it off when that dingy ho fucked up our National Anthem.  Why does the NFL go out of their way to find these idiots.  I don't give two shits and a fart as to what their fucking artistic interpretations are.  Sing it the way its supposed to be sung, knock off the yodeling and all that crap.  I'd rather hear a local junior high school band play it.  Assholes.
After that I think I lasted about one possession, barfed twice at the shitty uniforms and turned it off. What a waste of time, I have better things to do than to waste what time I have left.

I quit watching on the first drive when I saw 3 guys "tackle" a RB or WR and not even attempt to take him to the ground.

I don't know why they even have a game, players want the free trip but don't want to play for fear of being hurt. Ought to just make it a superstar type event where players team up and have about 10 events for charity.

Or even just a skills competition.

I saw the videos from halftime and thought it was either poorly, poorly scripted or just plain sad to see Harbaugh and Garrett attempting to give pep talks before retaking the field.

Have the draft with Irvin and Sanders or whoever as coaches.  Acknowledge that the NFL is built on gambling and let them make a bet for charity.  Offensive linemen have an eating contest.  Quarterbacks have a passing contest.  Defensive linemen do a shuttle drill.  Linebackers tackle an electric dummy that reads the PSI of each hit.  Wide receivers have a catching contest, judged much like the NBA's dunk contest.  Running backs run the 40.  DBs run the 100.  Kickers try trick shots.  Cheerleaders have a naked contest.

Everyone wins.  No one gets hurt.
