So I'm driving home today and listening to talk radio. The host is going on about a movie, The Imitation Game, he saw. But mostly talking about who the movie was about. He wondered why this guy has basically been erased from history as no one, including myself, really knows much about him. At least, you never hear about him. I had never until today.
Not that he was solely responsible for everything, but when you really look at what he did, you would have to say that his contributions did as much to change the face of civilization as we know it as just about anyone in history. So class, your pop quiz has two questions:
1.) Tell us about who Alan Turing was and his contributions to society.
2.) Name a "tribute" you see to those contributions and the life/death of Alan Turing. Each of us has seen this tribute about a million times. (I didn't confirm the tribute on the wiki's. The talk show host said it like he knew what he was talking about so it must be true.)
You have 10 minutes to search the googles. Or, if I'm the only dumbass that's never heard of Alan Turing, feel free to
at the Snags. Good luck.
