Again, probably will turn out to be a good hire but totally not what the "experts" were predicting. All you heard was they wanted a wide open offense and a great offensive minded coach. Now granted, he was the OC at Bama and they actually did put up some good numbers under McElwain. But the style was more grind it out, play action and win with D.
That being said, was that more a function of LS dictating that as the way he wanted to play? Anyone know what kind of O he ran at CSU?
