Gotta really burn the Bams knowing they probably make the NCAA Tourney with Pearl as their coach.

Right now Bower's is better coming from the bench. Has lost concept of team ball and even though he's a tremendous asset as a defensive rebounder, he's a liability with the ball. He cannot catch and shoot, dribble drive with touch around the basket or shoot better than 50% from the line. Waddell and Thompson picked up the slack last night.
Hopefully the staff can work with Bowers in the offseason.

Best thing they could do is hire someone like Akeem Obewonjalon or even Sir Charles to come in for a few days and work one on one with him.  Teach him to play under control and develop a couple of go-to moves instead of his one patented, "Bull in a china shop" crap.

66-59. Holy crap!!!  Very nice.  Don't they get LSU next?  If so, that's a team they beat on the road earlier this year.  They're huge inside but hey....

Some of you naysayers need to abstain from watching any further games this season, if you had any character whatsoever in your body. No faith in our team, Debbie Downer, naysayers. You know who you are.

I knew we had it in us the whole time.

That's right...conventional wisdom says we never get started after back to back to back scraps, being out-manned in every way imaginable.

No reason whatsoever for UK not to make the easy pass inside the entire game.
If they forego that to bomb from the perimeter they are laughing at us.
I will watch with the sound off.

Well.

http://auburn.247sports.com/Article/Bowers-suspended-for-Kentucky-game-36181674

Quote
In a stunning turn of events, Auburn forward Cinmeon Bowers has been suspended for today's Southeastern Conference Tournament game against No. 1 Kentucky at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

According to an Auburn release, head coach Bruce Pearl was "made aware of a potential rules violation" after Friday's 73-70 overtime victory over LSU.

Bowers, Auburn's leading rebounder and only strong inside presence, joins 6-foot-8 forward Jordon Granger in missing today's game. Granger is suspended after being ejected from Friday's game for fighting.

Without Bowers and Granger, the only available Auburn's tallest available players are likely to be 6-foot-8 sophomore Alex Thompson, 6-foot-7 freshman T.J. Lang and 7-foot-1 freshman Trayvon Reed, who has not played in the tournament.

Down 47-29 at the half. Playing hard but this bunch of All-Americans hired mercenaries in white is tough enough to beat with a full squad and without the sorry SEC officiating. I hope Kentucky gets bounced from the tourney early.

I'm so impressed how tough we are making it for them down low with basically good NAIA kids. We have shown well regardless of the final score. Proud of my team.
