Right now Bower's is better coming from the bench. Has lost concept of team ball and even though he's a tremendous asset as a defensive rebounder, he's a liability with the ball. He cannot catch and shoot, dribble drive with touch around the basket or shoot better than 50% from the line. Waddell and Thompson picked up the slack last night. Hopefully the staff can work with Bowers in the offseason.
Boom motherfuckers. 2 SEC Tournament wins in a row. First time since 2000.
Listen, I know it's against obvious reality but fuck Kentucky. I'm ballz in AU.
In a stunning turn of events, Auburn forward Cinmeon Bowers has been suspended for today's Southeastern Conference Tournament game against No. 1 Kentucky at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.According to an Auburn release, head coach Bruce Pearl was "made aware of a potential rules violation" after Friday's 73-70 overtime victory over LSU.Bowers, Auburn's leading rebounder and only strong inside presence, joins 6-foot-8 forward Jordon Granger in missing today's game. Granger is suspended after being ejected from Friday's game for fighting.Without Bowers and Granger, the only available Auburn's tallest available players are likely to be 6-foot-8 sophomore Alex Thompson, 6-foot-7 freshman T.J. Lang and 7-foot-1 freshman Trayvon Reed, who has not played in the tournament.
