Reading The Dirt, a 2001 recounting of the outrageous and self obsessed and self destructive antics of Mötley Crüe. Consider the band a medium-level act that squandered the chance to be Stones/Zep/KISS level legends in a flood of drugs, booze and self-delusion. Even at the writing of this book it was pretty clear that three of the four were still ridiculously immature and completely lacking in self awareness. My mommy was mean to me. Let me shoot heroin into my dick because I feel so sorry for myself.
I did find it interesting that Mick predicted the Ebola panic in 2001. He explained the disease and it's properties and why he thought it might one day be the next big plague.
Wonder if he remembers writing it.
