You know, this conversation about NM and JJ has me grinning. I can't ever remember when Auburn was sitting so pretty at the QB position. I mean, here we are going back and forth about the starting QB which is a Heisman candidate and the backup QB who would be starting on any other team. That is the shiznit!

You are correct....These are good times we're livin' bro.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Clint shouldn't be so sad. He helped Auburn land Sammie. Besides, he could hold a clip board like no other.

Miss. State is the TOUGHEST team on the schedule, NOT THE MOST TALENTED... TAMU, Ole Piss, Turds all have more stars, more overall athleticism. But now is the perfect time for both teams to meet, as healthy and at full strength as either will be. Gus knows it too,  And we will be ready.
djsimp was right-a slobberknocker it will be.

The Prowler and myself thought preseason that this would be our trap game but instead this is the headliner of the year.

Coates can jump as well as Duke...he just has a bad wheel. Haven't seen our guys overextending, parallel and laying out for passes much. Probably just as well as long as we are ahead on the scoreboard.

J.J. could finish this, but he is the future which is very bright indeed.
Right now, Nick is the game changer, the biggest threat on any field he steps on... the guy who will win the game.
Gus KNOWS this.

Your contribution thus far has been "Marshall aint cuttin it! Put JJ In. Gus doesn't know what he is doing with the QBs."

You are a complete dumbass if that is what you read!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

And you are a complete dumbass if you try to say you meant anything other than that. Try enjoying the season a little more instead of second guessing it all. Old fart.

A point of clarification regarding number 4. All of my colleagues points are correct and well taken. My reasoning for specifically calling this period on the Gus Bus specifically a "great time" maybe even likened to the "age of enlightenment"--is that I can remember being picked on and made fun of for wearing my Auburn football belt during the Doug Barfield era by a group of boys who would today be classified as Updykes.

They put a dent in my Speed Buggy lunch box.

Although I was much more athletic, cool and better looking than any one individual in the group, they had me far outnumbered.

It was just harder being an AU man in the mid to late 70's and I think it helps me appreciate today more. I can remember having a difficult time getting enough players on the Auburn side of an Auburn and Alabama football game on the playground. And it was tackle back in those days.

You are my long lost brother.  I dealt with all the same.

My lunchbox was planet of the apes. Or batman. Depending on the year.

Bullshit. RIF dude.

The only thing I was doing was discussing what could use a little work and how I(and others) would like to see JJ a bit more. I never said start JJ or sit NM because he sucks.

You are the one who had nothing to add to the conversation so you started acting like the old WT. "Just one game at a time". "I defer to the great and powerful OZ." "Ain't nary one of you done brougth us a nashnill champeenship so don't quershin Gus." That was your bullshit.

The rest of us are discussing what we saw on the field and some of the things we would like to see.

The BARN called. They miss you!
