Not really, I didn't expect aTm to be that good, I really don't think anyone did. They looked good on both sides of the ball. USCe defense was non-existence.

Be good if our defense improved as much as A&Ms did.

May just be an anomaly, but it seems to me as if the gap between schools that follow a "traditional" philosophy and those that follow a more progressive philosophy has widened. SC should have had a good defense and had no idea how to stop A&M. Look what happened to them the last time they played us (and Cam). 653-17.

I still think we're better than the Ags on offense.

USCe's defense was terrible. Ags defense was improved but I don't think they are good. To me USC just was not a good team all around.

It's early and in most cases teams aren't as good or bad as they seem.

Dylan Thompson hasn't impressed me nor does he inspire his team as Connor Shaw could.

SC is very green. And it showed on their DL and Corners. Their new QB also is no Connor Shaw.

Sumlin is still a great offensive coach no matter who his QB is (Keenum, JFF, the new kid).

Ole Miss is still Ole Miss. Only by the grace of 123 turnovers by Boise at the end of the game will Ole Miss escape with an ugly win in the last mins.

And this weekend, somewhere - the Aggy upset that happened tonight will happen somewhere else too.

Would be some shit if the West came down to Auburn and Aggy, and the East came down to Florida and Mizzou.

Preseason prognostications are worthless. As are preseason polls. Tonight proved it.

Ole Miss is pretty craptastic. They aren't a good team at all. Bo Wallace smells.

They also do not travel well. They humiliated the SEC by having eight total fans attend the game. The Chicken Dome looks completely empty.

They should never be invited to play in the Kickoff Classic again.

FWIW? I am not ready for football. At all.
