I don't think so. I think is was not PC and was a bit harsh. But there is something to be said about people who might or might not be depressed using that as a way to get attentioin. I don't think Gene was referring to the truly sick. Just the attention seeking whiners.

This was also said two weeks prior to Robin Williams death. Where was the outrage then?     Now. As someone that has battled depression most of their life. I want to add and hopefully not rant too much. Fucking fuck these whiny ass kids that think their life is soooo bad Go kill your self! YOU made the decision to be a worthless pile of shit and expecting the world to hand you every thing. YOU decided to have 3 fucking kids before you were 21 and your job at  Burger King only pays minimum wage and you can't feed them or pay child support. I work my ass off and get at least a dollar and hour raise every year from my performance evals. They do tell me I don't play well with others but keep up the good work and saying the things they can't. I'm on depression meds and basically they can't touch me. It has its perks. Anyway.
