Russians wish Obama a Happy Birthday

This laser show was displayed on the US embassy yesterday:



President Barack Obama was mocked in Russia on his birthday Monday through a message projected on the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.

The message showed an image of the president, adorned with a happy birthday hat, eating a banana. The display was followed by the words “happy birthday” being projected on the embassy.

The Moscow Student Initiative took responsibility for the act on social media, according to The Huffington Post.

On the same day, a banner depicting Obama as the “Three Wise Monkeys” was also displayed across from the US. Embassy in Moscow.



While I abhor pretty much everything Obama stands for politically, I still don't like to see the US President mocked by another country.

Why? it doesn't bother him or his leadership group.

I'm uh sorry that I peeled the banana from the wrong side.  Next time, we as Americans will, uh, respect the, the, unparalleled and timeless tradition of, what the cultural of the, uh, rest of the world has been in peeling the banana from the side opposite of the stem.
