I'll take the positive publicity for us and the negative for them, but that list was kinda shitty.

#1 is bowl games?  We're doing our best to get rid of those.

#4 is dotting an "i"?  I've never understood that one.  Sure, I guess it's cool to recognize an Ohio State alum by allowing them to stand with the band, but it's not that great of a tradition.

#6 HAAAA HA HA it's a rock.  A freaking stump of stone that sits on a hill.  I'll take the rock over the bus ride around the stadium though.

#20 The Grove deserves to be on the list, but I don't really understand why it's so lauded.  It's a tailgating spot just like every other school has on their campus.  I thought LSU's tailgating scene was ten times better than what I experienced in Oxford.

#24 should be WAY ahead of most of these.

Also, maybe I'm just a homer, but tell me another school tradition that celebrates victory like Auburn does?  It's the most unique college football tradition and one of if not the most unique tradition in all of sports.  I think some people try to minimize it because it's toilet paper, but we turn (used to turn) gigantic, hundred year old oak trees into a Winter Wonderland.  It's an incredible setting for college students, alums, players, and families to come together, sing fight songs, and celebrate a big win.  Nothing comes close to it.  Not bowl games.  Not the Army-Navy game.  Not even the flying of the eagle.

See I'm the reverse, don't get me wrong I love rolling Toomers but the flying of the Eagle surpasses all.  Best tradition in college football period.  I may not always go to roll Toomers, but god damn I  make sure I  am sitting in my seat before that eagle flys.  Gives me tears and goose bumps everytime!!

WAR DAMN EAGLE!

It's a top five tradition no doubt.  It's easily the best use of an animal during the pregame show.

But that's where it falls short of Toomer's.  Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU all have animals as part of their pregame show and they're all great.  I think Auburn's eagle flight is the best of the bunch, but again, it doesn't stand on its own.

Nothing else resembles Toomer's.  Others have tried to come up with something, but they usually just burn their own furniture.

I like Colorado's buffalo coming out onto the field and shit just because its a fucking buffalo running wild with handlers who act like they actually have control of it. Thing is, Colorado usually sucks so no one cares or notices. Otherwise it's pretty cool.

I wish we had a real tiger like LSU does. Although theirs isn't really a tradition. The Big Blue M Club thingee Meat Chicken does is kinda neat. But yeah, we take the cake for both toomers and the eagle.

Aggie's 12th man thingee? Creepy. Overrated.

THS is right - hey Clemson, its a piece of rock! Who cares.

I admit UGAs "between the hedges" expression is cool but not particularly unique. The pagentry of Army Navy is cool as well.

Agree on the grove. If for nothing but the hot wimenz, booze and food.

Dealio for me is Toomers beats em all.  The eagle is ausome and ranks up there with some of the best, but its lost a bit of luster because that damn bird only flies about 50 yards then attacks the rat.  At least fly to the other endzone Tweety.  I normally only go to Toomers after a big win, which makes it more special.

Tradition is picking up a little something special for the wife's anal cavity at Nookies after a big Auburn win.
