Auburn could be close to landing a commitment from a 2016 legacy prospect.
Stephen Davis Jr., the son of former Auburn and NFL running back Stephen Davis, named Auburn his leader after the A-Day game, and that lead has reportedly grown.

"They're still No. 1," Davis told 247Sports. "I'm still looking at them big time, and they're still looking at me.
"I want to commit right now, but I still have to visit other places and I'm just keeping it to the side right now."
The 6-foot-4, 207-pounder from Irmo, S.C., is being recruited by the Tigers as a safety. He is ranked as a four-star prospect and the nation's No. 22 athlete in the 2016 recruiting class by the 247Sports Composite.
South Carolina is No. 2 on his list and he is planning possible summer visits to Clemson, North Carolina and UCLA. Davis Jr. has visited Auburn three times, including a trip for the 2013 Iron Bowl, and plans on returning this fall.
"I enjoyed it, especially seeing Alabama get beat," Davis Jr. said in March.
His father rushed for 2,811 yards and 30 touchdowns for Auburn from 1993 to 1995 before moving on to the NFL with the Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers.
