Hey he was actually in class to "cause" a disturbance. My sources have him as a solid kid from a good family with the check incidence being his only transgression. He's a player but he probably has about the same chance as Ricky Parks to get it right.

The CFB world in general are giving us a ton of shit over this. The joke has long been that we're a "Land of Misfit Toys" because of exactly two whole JuCo transfers. The horror. Cause Auburn and only Auburn are the only school in history that has ever taken transfers that got kicked out of another school. The rest just go commit Hari-Kari and are never heard from again. Mind you, this happened exactly twice at Auburn. Newton & Marshall. They both are just examples of thugs destroying the moral fabric of college football, of course.

I'm a bit leery of this. Cam and nick came to us from JUCO. going to JUCO for a season was very humbling and created an attitude of graciousness. Trey has not had that. He is going from one SEC school to another. Will it work well for us? I have no idea. But it does not follow our past success with "troubled" transfers.

The one thing we have now that most SEC schools do not have is, UNITY. If he "chooses" to live into the dorm and be accountable to his peers, then this just might work.
